The workers' sports meeting marking ASIMCO's 30th anniversary, which advocated the theme of "struggle in unity, forge ahead vigorously and strive for better accomplishments", was held in Yizheng, Jiangsu province on May 18-19, 2024. Six teams of over 700 athletes from ASIMCO HQ, ASIMCO Anhui, ASIMCO Shanxi, ASIMCO I-tech, ASIMCO Camshaft and ASIMCO Shuanghuan participated in 15 sports events in a period of one day and a half. Present at the opening ceremony were the distinguished guests including Jiao Chengyao (Party secretary and chairman of ZMJ), Jia Hao (general manager of ZMJ and chairman of ASIMCO), Li Kaishun (CEO of ASIMCO), Sun Jiannian (Party secretary of the CPC Yizheng Committee), Meng Dehe (vice Party secretary of the CPC Yizheng Committee and mayor of Yizheng Municipal People’s Government), and customers' representative. These leaders also took part in some contests.
This sports meeting is not merely an event that witnessed the rivalry of determination in the sports ground, but an opportunity of cultural integration and promoted exchange within the Group. All the participants tasted sports-related joys, showcased positive images and felt cultural integration. All the operating companies and athletes reaped their own splendid, tangible and fruitful moments.
