ASIMCO Super HIPO Program (Phase III) Successfully Concluded

ASIMCO Super HIPO Program (Phase III) was successfully wrapped up. This two-day event took the form of workshop. ASIMCO Group's Chairman Jia Hao systematically examined the theme of Person, Company and Environment. The first-day topics included the company's purpose and development, the evolution of management, growth model of an enterprise, and corporate governance. The second day's more practical topics covered industrial changes, M&A and integration, strategic development, management and control of a group, and changes and challenges. In addition to the high potential talents, all the general managers and other senior executives in the group participated in this event. The heated atmosphere and excellent contents captured their attentions all the time.

 

Since 2017, more than 60 people have graduated from the HIPO Program. In fact, all the trainees are outstanding talents. In 2020, the group's talent development work moved further ahead thanks to the vigorous supports from the board of directors. ASIMCO Super HIPO Program was officially launched. The outstanding high potential talents, namely "the most outstanding of high potential talents", are selected from the existing high potential talents, and represent the leading driver for the company's future development.

 

"Building a talent pool" is the foundation for a company's development and also a critical component of ASIMCO Group's "four new modernizations" strategy. It means that the future successors shall be prepared to create a talent reserve at all levels when the existing talents are playing their roles. In case of any changes or significant projects, the right talents can fill the vacancies so that the shortage of talents is prevented.

 

A talent takes much longer time to growth than a tree. It needs our immediate action if the future leaders are to be developed. ASIMCO Super HIPO Program reaped vigorous supports from the board of directors in its planning and implementation, and the group leaders poured much energy and attention. To date, we've completed the first three phases and there only remains the last phase.

 

A total of ten talents gained an access to ASIMCO Super HIPO Program. This program is designed to integrate learning, action, drilling and growth into one whole. The selected talents can enhance their awareness in learning, drill their leadership in tough strategic program, and experience rapid growth through mentoring. The great cause must be shouldered by the specific talents. In this sense, the effective talent management is a company's core competence. ASIMCO always highlights the establishment of a long-term talent development mechanism to guarantee its potentials for sustained growth.
