ASIMCO Shanxi's new core-making center was successfully put into production on January 23, 2021, and started to produce qualified sand core, thus contributing to the company’s more balanced production capacity and pumping new energy into the company’s high-speed development.

The new core-making center project started its on-site installation on December 26, 2020. Thanks to the sincere coordination of all the departments concerned and the tight cooperation from the manufacturer, all the employees in the company joined their minds and efforts to overcome all the difficulties and produced the qualified sand cores on January 23, 2021. The relocation from the tooling warehouse within factory building, the construction of foundation, the setting of steel-framed platforms, the equipment installation and the debugging of peripheral facilities mean a heavy task within a limited period. Foundation, steel structure, core-making center and sand delivery system, exhaust treatment, and etc all involve hard work and intelligence. The installation and debugging work, which was planned to be completed in sixty days, was actually finished only in thirty days. All the people concerned beamed with delight when the first qualified sand core was produced.
