Getting ASIMCO's Digital Era off Ground
2021.10.20

ASIMCO Group's kick-off meeting of digital project was held in ASIMCO Shuanghuan on October 20, 2021. The participants at this meeting included the group's president & CEO Wang Bin and VP of Manufacturing Support Li Kaishun and Executive Financial Director Song Qianru, ASIMCO Shuanghuan's General Manager Liu Qianxi, ZMJ’s Information Management Director Gan Wei, as well as the leaders of all the operating companies, and Infor and TSnT project team members.

The information and IT revolution that is unfolding throughout the world is playing a never-seen and decisive role in promoting social changes. Information technology represents an overarching trend in this era and the advanced productivity. As Mr. Li said at the meeting, the "dual circulation" development strategy, green energy, low carbon and energy conservation and change in demographic structure all point to the fact that the digital transformation and upgrading are significant and urgent. Against this backdrop, the rapid digital transformation is an integral consideration of the group's development strategy and the improvement to the group's stronger core competence. All the operating companies are required to appreciate, understand, position and implement digital work more effectively.

This digital project will entail such modules as basic data, sales management, production management, procurement management, warehouse management and financial management. It's necessary to create the management system that focuses on digital upgrading, facilitate the group's digital transformation, optimize and solidify management process, and make breakthroughs in automated production, material flow and information flow.

Mr. Wang spoke highly of the preparatory work for this project in his speech. He hoped that this information construction project could cover all the levels and main operations and get properly linked with the group's existing information system to make contribution to the elevation of the group's information work to a new level.
